Altered art, my first attempt

My inspiration came from Carrie on Crafting who did a mannequin and then I saw an article in Somerset Studio done by Karen Valentine that I just loved.  So I started by covering the mannequin with tiny squares of two different papers and then distressing with Walnut stain.  Then I used this wire mesh to make a skirt and hat.  The frame is actually 2 canvasses with the one cutout.  Family pictures from Retro Cafe Art Gallery.  Frames are from Artchix which I also distressed with Walnut Stain and Rusty Hinge.  Bird and cat are from Artchix.  The cat I embossed with black powder and then I embossed a gold collar and attached a charm.  The key I embossed with gold embossing powder and then used Alcohol Ink - Haselnut to make it look older.
Hope you like my effort and I am going to enter this in a challenge on Simon says Stamp, Everything goes.
